"Jaco" is the head-owner of several dry-cargo vessels trading in world-wide.

All ship operation activities are performed by Norlat Shipping
Ltd. As (Norlat), a company in the Th. Jacobsen group.

The vessels, ranging from 10.000 dwt to 25.000 dwt in size, are
trading with a broad variety of dry cargoes ranging from bulk and general cargoes to project cargoes.

The Baltic Sea and the Russian inland waterways have
traditionally been key areas of operation. "Norlat" is one of
very few Western companies successfully operating on the Russian
rivers. The majority of the vessels in the fleet, however, are
sea-going ships trading world-wide. Over the past few years the
management has worked actively with the Mediterranean region as
well as with transatlantic operations.
